Wait; what? More SELECT, More Often?

No, your eyes are not deceiving you — you are now seeing new content from IOUG SELECT more often! In case you hadn’t heard, we have migrated away from quarterly releases of SELECT, and are now providing content on an ongoing basis through this new content hub.

That’s right; the new format that you’ve been enjoying since the beginning of January is going to be available more frequently with new content. What an awesome development for the IOUG community!

Timely articles will be added, including a chance to read articles from the beginning of the month, just in case there wasn’t enough time in the day.

    Here are our focus areas:

    • Regular day-to-day data and database professional issues and topics.
    • Upgrades and new features for Oracle 12cR2.
    • Cloud services.
    • Database security.
    • Any data topics that are current and roadmaps to upcoming technologies.

As a database professional, there is quite a bit of information to sort through, and IOUG SELECT will continue to provide technical articles to support the user of Oracle technologies and explore how to work with the complex environments.

Now here is where you, as part of the Oracle technology and database community, can play a key role:

    • Provide feedback about your most challenging topics.
    • Share insights about how you might have handled an issue or planned for a future migration to a new release or cloud services.
    • Become an author or editor.

We want to hear from you! Please contact Mike Carrozzo at mcarrozzo@ioug.org if you are interested in learning more about how to contribute.

And make it a point to stop by the IOUG booth at COLLABORATE17, April 2-6 in Las Vegas, where you can find out more information about how to become a contributor to SELECT!

With your help, we can continue to make IOUG SELECT the valuable resource it is for the IOUG community!
